Laurette Clémence Marie (Berard) Loiselle

C'est avec grande tristesse que nous voulons vous faire part du décès de Laurette Loiselle (née Berard), mardi le 8 novembre 2022, à l'âge de 93 ans. Elle était l'épouse bien-aimée de feu Aimé Loiselle.

Elle laisse en deuil ses enfants Roland (Margaret), Jean, Lise (Roy), Denis (Liliane), Lorraine (Michel), René (Kim) et Gérald (Nancy); 8 petits-enfants et 6 arrière petits-enfants.

It is with deep regret that we announce the peaceful passing of Laurette Loiselle on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Actionmarguerite Saint-Vital at the age of 93. Laurette will be sadly missed by her children Roland (Margaret), Jean, Lise (Roy), Denis (Liliane), Lorraine (Michel), René (Kim) and Gérald (Nancy); grandchildren Jessica (Cameron), James (Arielle), Suzanne (Steven), Monique, Josianne (Brian), André (Irene), Patrick and Janine (Daniel); great grandchildren Keenan, Taya, Callum, Gabriel, Isabelle and Benoît; brother Claude (Lorraine) Berard and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved husband Aimé Loiselle after 62 years of marriage, her parents Eugène and Anna (Delorme) Berard, her sister Yolande (Arthur) Jubinville.

After putting her 7 children through school, she worked 23 years as the Supervisor of Central Supply at the St. Boniface Hospital. She became adept at doing many different types of crafts and in particular loved playing Canasta, 31 and SKIP-BO with family and friends. She also loved to line dance during the many years in Texas.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Riverwood Square's Harmony Court, who cared, comforted and kept Laurette safe, while isolated from family and friends during the pandemic. The family would also like to thank all the family, friends, and in particular the health care personnel, who looked after Laurette, during her most trying times and keeping her safe while at the Victoria Hospital, Deer Lodge Centre, Grace Hospital and Actionmarguerite Saint-Vital. All staff went above and beyond expectations to care and comfort Mum.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road.

In Lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Laurette's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
