It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maria on January 28, 2021, at the age of 93, surrounded by her loving family.

She will be missed by her sons Giovanni and Stefano, grandson Adriano and his mother Julie, numerous relatives in Winnipeg and Italy and many friends.

Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Angelo, father Silvestro, mother Annina, brothers Domenico, Dionisio, sisters Gilda, Annunziata.

Mamma was born on July 23, 1927 in San Giorgio Di Crognaleto, Teramo, Italy. Together with her husband and sons, they came to Canada on July 4, 1970 for a better future. She last worked at West Park Manor until her retirement.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
