It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle Vandal, aged 55 years, our loving and devoted grandmother, mother, sister and friend. Following a lengthy battle with cancer, Michelle passed away with her children by her side. Michelle joins her spouse Robert Payonk; mother Evelynn Delaney (Nee Garet); stepfather Ralph Delaney and her father Roger Pelland. She will be sadly missed by her children Amber, Adam (Lauren) and Amy (Ted); her precious grandchildren Deseray, Cole, Willow, Atticus and Isabella; her brothers David, Rick and sister Kelly; many nieces and nephews, as well as her close friends.
Michelle will be remembered for her caring and loving personality, her strength and resilience. Life wasn’t always fair to Michelle, but she still found the courage to persevere.
The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Palliative Care for their care and compassion throughout her final weeks.
A private celebration of life is pending.
