Roxanne Noelle Millar

October 30 1976 – December 1 2010

It is with great sadness and sorrow in our hearts to announce our lovely Roxanne has courageously fought and lost her brave battle to cancer on December 1st 2010 at 12:00AM at the young age of 34. She peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones, who never lost faith and hope in Roxy’s determination to fight her Leukemia. She is survived by her young son Liam, and her faithful loving partner, Kim; her adored parents, Rita and Richard; loving brothers Richard (Lisa), Ronald (Christa) and Randy (Samantha). Roxy will be forever missed by her family, including her many nephews (Carter, Nathaniel, Jacob and Conner), aunts and uncles, especially by her close aunts Rosemary and Judy, and close cousins Ashley, A-Lynn, Chris; Godparents Karen and Rick as well as her many friends, including Joanne, Michelle and her daughters Mira and Veronika.

As a loving mother, wonderful daughter, beautiful sister, lively and true friend, and compassionate nurse, her spirit and great zest for life will forever resonate with our family. She forever focused on her beloved son, Liam – the true love of her life; she was not only his mother, they were the best of friends.

She always brought us laughter, love, joy, and most recently, a determined fight against which could never bring her down.

We would like to thank Cancer Care for their compassionate care and dedicated effort in providing Roxy every possible treatment and comfort in her final hours.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been put in place in Roxy’s memory for her beloved son Liam; donations are kindly accepted on behalf of Liam Millar through Investor’s Group Financial Services.
