It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Violet Josephine Ward aged 96, who passed away peacefully at Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank on March 5, 2010.
She is survived by her husband Ross, their 4 children Bill (Mary), Dale (Fran), Nona, Wilma (Satch) and 11 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one brother Mern, her only sister June and sisters in law Jean, Pearl and Blanche and numerous nieces and nephews.
Violet was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Elizabeth Habing and siblings Jack, Gerald (Maud), Virgil, Norman, Floyd (Alice), Leonard, Raymond, brother in law Kitchner and sister in law Anne
Our thanks go out to Kin Place Personal Care Home for the excellent care and kindness shown to Mom and Dad throughout the past few years.
As per Violets request a private family service was held on March 11 at Green Acres Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers if desired a donation may be made to Kin Place Personal Care Home’s Recreation Fund 680 Pine Drive, Box 28, Oakbank, Manitoba, R0E 1J0.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal and Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
