It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William Krieg. Remaining to cherish William’s memory are his daughter Margaret; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, and extended families. William was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Kathleen; his parents Christian and Margaret King; and his brothers and sisters.
After their marriage in 1951, Bill and Kathleen farmed in the Dugald area for 40 years, and Bill worked at CNR for 25 years. Retiring in 1990, they moved to Kelowna, BC for 16 years, returning to Winnipeg in 2006.
The family would like to thank River East Personal Care Home for their compassionate care.
The Funeral Service for Bill will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in William’s name to the charity of your choice.
