Ann Elizabeth "Babe" Wilburn Bertrand

Ann Elizabeth “Babe” Wilburn Bertrand, 92, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was born May 12, 1920 in New Albany, Indiana to her late parents, John Edwin and Emma Elizabeth Louis Reas. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Chester Wilburn, second husband, Cleo Bertrand, and step-daughter, Martha Irene Mouser. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Madonna Circle, and introduced herself to everyone as grandma.

Step-Children: Frank Bertrand (Karen)

Clara Mayfield (Kenny)

And many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be 10:00am Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, Indiana with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor.
