

Ann Hinson, 81 years of age passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at Yellowwood Terrace in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born July 21, 1935 to the late Ruthlee and Flora Burk of McKenzie Tennessee. She was a graduate of McKenzie High School and was awarded a basketball scholarship to the University of Tennessee. She worked as an Instructional aide at S. Ellen Jones Elementary School and as a Preschool Teacher at Graceland Day School. Ann was a member of State Street Baptist Church in New Albany, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America - Rebekah Lodge. She is preceded in death her husband, Jarrell Hinson; sister, Virginia Morris; and brother, Hulon Burk.
She is survived by her children, Steve Hinson, Kathy Stiles, Karen DeWilligen (Art), Michael Hinson (Tonya); grandchildren, Cheryl Shults, Hollie Dobson, Randy Hinson, Tina White, Mark Hinson, Tyler DeWilligen, Brandis DeWilligen, Michael Hinson, Allen Hinson, Lindsey Hinson, Alex Hinson, Alexius Hinson, Jesse Hinson; great grandchildren, Mattie White, Kennedy Hinson, Zoey Hinson, Easton Smith, Destiney Roberts, Harley Roberts, McKenzie Dobson, Shelby Dobson, Kason Hinson, and Addie Hinson.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am to 10:00 am Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
