Anna M Breeden

Anna M. Breeden, age 95, of Santa Claus, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Anna was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 23rd, 1929 to the late Philip Alden Spencer and Margaret (Sievers) Spencer. She married Paul Dale Breeden on August 18th, 1950. Anna was a member of Saint Mark's Evangelical and Reformed Church where is was confirmed and married.

Anna worked at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry from 1964 to 1974. Her husband Dale's career took them to Virginia where they lived from 1974 to 1990. She attended computer classes at The University of Louisville and a Community College in Roanoke, VA. She attended the University of Richmond in Virginia, earning her a paralegal certificate. They moved to Christmas Lake Village in Santa Claus, Indiana in 1990. They proudly attended Christian Fellowship Church in Evansville, Indiana.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Paul Dale Breeden; her brothers, Alden H. Spencer and John Spencer; her sisters, Alice Kroskey, Betty Whittinghill and Margie Beeler.

Anna is survived by her children, Carol (Larry) Brown of Georgia; Barbara Breeden of Missouri; Dale R. (Pat) Breeden, of California; and Kevin (Robin) Breeden of Virginia; her loving granddaughters, Katie (Tom) Holst, Lisa (Jonathan) Ingram, Andrea (Daniel) Brown, Becky Breeden, and Allison (Drew) Breeden; and her seven great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 2:00 pm with a graveside service to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
