Anna Lou Deweese Bezy

Anna Lou Bezy, 78 years of age, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born December 1, 1934 in Fredericksburg, Indiana to the late Fred and Marjorie (Roll) Deweese. Anna was a retired manager of Uptown Liquors in New Albany and was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church in Floyds Knobs, Indiana and the VFW Post #1693 Ladies Auxiliary in New Albany, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bezy; and infant son, Steven Bezy.

Survivors include her children, Donna Oskin (Sam) of Georgetown, Indiana, Joyce Kessinger of New Albany, Indiana, Bob Bezy (Kathy) of New Albany, Indiana, Angie Crain (Mark) of Georgetown, Indiana; brother, Roy Deweese (Judy) of New Albany, Indiana; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday at St. Mary of the Knobs Chapel with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family requests expressions of sympathy go to the Alzheimer’s Association.
