

She was born on Sunday, September 3, 1939 in New Albany, Indiana.
She married her husband , Jim Padgett on November 6,1956 and they were inseparable until his death in September.
Beverly and Jim founded Padgett, Inc. in 1962 and she was the main advisor on all company decisions and acquisitions, however, her heart and soul belonged to her family and her Savior Jesus Christ.
Her ambition in life was to be a wife and mother, she was the Gold Standard in both.
She loved Christmas so much that she would begin celebrating in September. She was Secret Santa to many children and adults.
She loved to sing. She would sing in the car and while she worked in her home. She was always singing to her children and grandchildren.
She loved all nature. Seeing all the flora and fauna, the sounds of rain and thunder, the sounds of frogs croaking and crickets chirping.
Beverly was a founding member of New Beginnings Community Church and she worked in the Ministry for the Hearing Impaired at Graceland Baptist Church as a Sign Language Interpreter for years.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years James R. Padgett, her parents Robert Henry Thurman and Norma June (McCallen) Wolfe, her brothers Robert Clay Thurman and Ronald James Thurman.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura (David) Bierman, Robin (John) Lukowski, her son, Jimmy (Vickie) Padgett and her faithful dog, Louie.
Her grandchildren, Melia (Kory) Yount, Joshua (Jenna) Padgett, Lacey (Bert) Furmall and Andrew Padgett.
Her great grandchildren Scarlett & Sawyer Furmall and Brooklyn , Emerson & Easton Yount.
Her sisters, Linda Larimore, Dana (Joe) Wyzard and she also has many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Beverly lived a Christ centered, family oriented, simple life.
In accordance with her wishes there will be no memorial service and a private burial.
