Bill Beck

William W. “Bill” Beck, 89 years of age passed on August 29, 2019. He was born on May 31, 1930 in Speed, Indiana to the late Lupton and Alice Beck. Bill worked for the Diehl Pump Company for 45 years and finished his career with the Layne Company. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Peg Beck; daughters, Patti Howell, Denise Wilson; son-in-law, Jack Sandlin; and sister-in-law, Debbie Beck. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Beck; children, Lori Ratanapool(Tom), Jon Beck, Bob Beck(Tami), Kathy Sandlin, Michael Hoffman(Paula), David Hoffman; sisters, Rosalie Carroll(Pat), Ann Graf(Cletus); brothers, Albert Beck, Art Beck; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 316 N. Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville, Indiana with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery in Sellersburg, Indiana.
