

She was one of ten children and graduated from Macon High School in Macon, Mo.
She married Finis Perry on August 11, 1949, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Bonnie was a long-time member of the Community of Christ Church, where she taught Sunday school and participated in prison ministry for many years. She and Finis also volunteered at the local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, as well as her daughter, Karen Hurst; brothers Lestil McQuay, Donald McQuay, Biard McQuay, David McQuay and Larry McQuay; and sister Virginia McQuay.
She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Lauer and Judy Woods, and one brother, Calvin McQuay. She leaves behind four other children, Mark Perry of Owasso, Okla., Mindy Lawrence of Campbellsburg, Ky., Lisa d’Ambrosi of Richmond, Texas, and Richard Perry of Anna, Texas, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bonnie and her late husband were also foster parents to many children over the years.
She enjoyed traveling; visiting family, friends, and her church community; and spoiling her dog, Toby.
Her celebration of life service will be held at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4900 W. Luther Road, Floyds Knobs, In., on Saturday, August 24, 2024, 1–3 p.m. with a short service at 2 p.m.
