Chris E. Kokojan

Chris E. Kokojan, 56 years of age died Saturday, December 23, 2017. He was born February 13, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Bernard and Martha (Murta) Kokojan. Chris was a 1979 graduate of Providence High School and 1985 graduate of Purdue University. He was a trained professional wildfire fighter, a professional caregiver with Rauch, Inc., and worked for the Kaiser Company for many years. Chris was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who loved nature and researching artifacts. He was an Eagle Scout and still very active in helping with Holy Family Troop #36.

Survivors include his son, Joseph C. Kokojan and Donna Kokojan; sisters, Kelly Willis (Tim), Julie Kokojan, Karen Fentress; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and after 9:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St. New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany, Indiana. Burial will follow at Silver Creek Cemetery in Clark County, Indiana.
