David Ray Keller

DAVID RAY KELLER, 69, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016. The son of the late Howard Russell and Evelyn Mae Parsons Keller, David was born October 6, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana. David was retired from General Electric Company in Louisville after 33 years of service. He was a beloved Scoutmaster for B.S.A. and Union Steward for Local 761. He was a Christian man who enjoyed serving the Lord and his church, Safe Harbor Christian Church, in many capacities. David received the greatest gift from God nine years ago when he received a set of lungs through KODA and a donor. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Donald Keller and Betty Bustin.

Survivors include his children, Rhonda Hettinger (Richard), Paula Bertrand (Mark), and David Scott Keller; former wife and mother of his children, Patricia Lawson; siblings, Daniel and Jean Keller; grandchildren, Brandon, Lauren, Christopher, Michael, Sarah, Ashley, and Emily; great grandchildren, Addyson and Ava; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany and after 11:00 am Wednesday at Safe Harbor Christian Church, 3002 Murphy Road, Memphis, IN. A Celebration of His Life will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at his church with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
