David A. Roberts

David A. Roberts, age 73, of Borden, Indiana, passed away at Baptist East Hospital on Sunday, August 17, 2025. David was born in Salem, Indiana on February 2, 1952, to the late Jess Elmon Roberts and Alberta Regina (Hayes) Roberts. David was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was an avid outdoorsman especially hunting and fishing. David was also known for his love to cook.

David is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Neal "Bobby" Roberts and Mark Alexander Roberts.

David is survived by his son, Daniel Roberts and two daughters, Sarah Burton and Angela (Chris) Pate; Grandchildren, Rachel Roberts, Paul (Meredith) Roberts, Brittany Meek, Mackenzie Pate, and Otto Pate; Great-Grandchildren, Ruger, Easton, Oakley, and Ethan; his brothers, Luke (Donna) Roberts and John (Tracy) Roberts; his sisters, Elizabeth Paul, Regina Motsinger, Becky (Marc) Dewees, and Linda Rittman; along with several nieces and nephews and extended friends and family.

A visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, New Albany, Indiana on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, at 1:00 pm with Pastor John Denny officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
