

Delores Jean Frazier, age 80, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Delores was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 21, 1944 to the late Lloyd Huston Miller and Lavonia "Lee" Mae Prather Smith. She was a pre k early education teacher in Southern Indiana for 25 years and she helped mold many other children's lives that to this day fondly refer to her as Momma Jean. She was a member of Shively Church of God, Faith Community and Graceland Baptist Church where she faithfully served the Lord for over 55 years. For many of those years she taught Sunday School. She gave her life to the Lord in her 20's and her faith is what sustained her throughout her life as she believed in and received salvation and healing. She loved the arts especially music and writing poetry but her life revolved around children and spending time with her beloved family from just drinking a cup of coffee or a Pepsi together, attending school or sporting events,having impromptu song and dance sessions, movie nights at home, going out to eat or attending her favorite shows at Derby Dinner just to name a few. She also had a soft spot for her precious fur babies from her first dog, Rusty to her last, sweet Chewy.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ann Frazier; and siblings, Toni Gail Mattingly and Lloyd Patrick Miller.
Delores is survived by three children, Angela Denise Denzik, Ginger Annette Baxter (Mark) and Charles Lloyd Frazier (Kayla); grandchildren, Brandon Frazier, Ryan Dixon, Randy Denzik, Haley Baxter Coomer (Wade), Alyssa Kraemer, Andrew Baxter, Olivia Kellogg, Camden Jenkins, Keaton Hinton and Carson Hinton; and one great grandchild, Kaylie Jean Frazier with a second on the way. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and extended chosen family, she loved everyone.
Visitation for Delores will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
