

DONALD EDWARD CRUMP, 88, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016. The son of the late George and Iva Leffler Crump, Donald was born April 26, 1927 in Harrison County, Indiana. Donald was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War, serving in the United States Army and Navy. He was a member of American Legion Post #28, member of FOP Lodge #99, and a lifetime member of VFW Post #1693. Donald was retired from International Harvester where he served as a union steward, and lifetime member of U.A.W. #1336 representing his fellow workers.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Kathryn (Rainbolt) Crump; brother, Lester Wayne Crump; and step-daughters, Bobbie and Lynn Knopp.
Survivors include his wife, Norma J. Knopp Crump; children, Michael Crump (Beverly), Steven Crump (Karen), Dan Crump (LuAnn), Donna Atherton, and Terri Clay (Mike); step-children, Vicki Fox, Lorrie Knopp, Kenneth Knopp (JoAnn), Dean Knopp, Janie Knopp, and William Knopp (Cindy); brother, Kenneth Crump (Henrietta); sister, Deloris Yochum; 25 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial and military honors to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
