Doris "Dot" Kamber Weathers

Doris “Dot” Kamber Weathers, 83 years of age died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Ma & Pa’s Spring Water Company in Clarksville for 17 years. She also managed the cafeterias at both Bridgepointe Daycare and St. Anthony’s Catholic School. She was a dedicated member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and a devoted teacher’s aide at St. Anthony Preschool. The children of St. Anthony School will greatly miss their beloved Mrs. Weathers. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Weathers, Jr., and infant son, Dennis Weathers.

Survivors include children, Thomas Weathers (Linda) of Borden, Kathy Brown of New Albany, Joe Weathers (Georgianne) of Clarksville, Debbie Alexander (Russell) of Jeffersonville, Bedeva Steurer (Robert Jr.) of Jeffersonville; 3 sisters, 4 brothers,13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral mass will be 11:00 am Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 316 N. Sherwood Ave., Clarksville, Indiana 47129 with entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
