Dorothy “Jayne” Bowman Dennison, 71 years of age died Monday, January 28th 2013 at Wedgewood Health Care in Clarksville, IN. She was born December 12th 1941 in Floyds Knobs to the late Delbert and Dorothy Albertson Bowman. Jayne was a retired book-keeper for some 24 years with Ace Hardware in New Albany and was a member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany. She will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.
Surviviors include her husband of 52 years, Clarence Dennison, Jr.; daughter, Janice S. Downing and husband Dwayne of New Albany; son Monte A. Dennison of New Albany; grandchildren, Amy Dennison, Miranda Jayne Downing, Conner Downing, and Keisha Mahoney; great grandchild, McKenna Giles; sisters, Shirley J. Bedan of New Albany, Patricia A. Jones of New Albany, Holley Glamzi of Michigan; nieces, Tamara Dodge and Kelly Bedan.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana with her Funeral Service to be held at 7:00 pm Thursday January 31st, in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel. Private entombment will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana. Expressions to: The Family or Northside Christian.
