Dorothy L. “Dottie” Nixon, 88 years of age died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. She was born August 13, 1926 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Grant and Edna Stephens. Dottie was a former resident at 5 Grandview Drive in Jeffersonville and was preceded in death by her husband, Keith L. Nixon
Survivors include her sons, Samuel Lowe (Pamela), Michael Lowe, Timothy Lowe (Donna), Mark Lowe (Denise); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her local Greater Louisville family
The family would like to thank the Wilberding family for all the love and care they gave to Dottie over the past several years.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
