Emma "Violet" Simon

Emma “Violet” Simon, age 74 of Sellersburg, Indiana passed on February 7, 2023. She was born on June 21, 1948, to the late Arther and Hazel Webb. Violet was the loving wife of the late Michael Simon Sr.

In her spare time, Violet enjoyed crafting, sewing, playing games on her tablet, and watching “true crime” tv shows. She was an avid shopper and loved going to yard sales. The highlight of her whole life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy.

Violet is preceded in death by her parents, husband, as well as her siblings.

Violet leaves behind her children, Mike Simon Jr., Rhonda Pacheco (Pascal), Hope Simon (Rodrigo), and Todd Simon (Angela); eleven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 10-1 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana, 47150.

Violet will be laid to rest in Kraft Graceland Cemetery, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, 47150.
