Essie Mae Sullivan, 86, of Corydon, Indiana passed away October 15, 2019 at Harrison Springs Healthcare. She was born in Henry County, Kentucky on October 28, 1932 to the late Claude and Rena Thompson. Essie was retired from Gould Wholesale Medical Supply and ICA America Ammo Plant. She was a member and elder of Trinity Assembly of God for 46 years and was a chaplain minister at the Harrison County Jail for 30 years.
In addidtion to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Sullivan; siblings, William Thompson, Cecil Thompson, David Thompson, Lora Broughton, Patricia Lewis, Priscilla Weikel and James Stewart Thompson.
She is survived by two sisters, Betty Gutman and Marilyn Fister (Stanley); her best friend and caretaker, Anna Myers; numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, October 21, 2019 at Noon at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street with entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 2-7 at the funeral home.
