Frank D Malone, age 91, of New Albany, IN, returned to his Heavenly Father on June 27, 2025. He was born in Bicknell, IN on December 29, 1933, to the late Earl and Frona (Holt) Malone. Frank served in the United States Army, 1956-1958. He was stationed in Fort Knox, KY; South Carolina; and South Korea (1957-1958). Frank retired as an Instruments & Controls Supervisor at Gallagher Generating Station for Public Service Indiana after 42 years of service. He was a member of Northside Christian Church and a former member of Culbertson Baptist Church. Frank enjoyed hunting and photography. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Janet (Wade) Malone, and brother Harold Rex Malone.
Frank leaves to cherish his memory children, David Malone, Paul Malone (Vickie), and Lisa Faust (Butch); granddaughters, Sarah Dodds (Chris), Julie Estopinal (Andrew), Rachel Miller (Austin), and Sianna Malone; great grandchildren, Bailey, Landon, and Emmett; brothers Joe Malone (Anita) and Ermal Malone; and many dear extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in the chapel of Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Mr. Malone's honor to Northside Christian Church, 4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150.
