Frank T. Saving

Frank T. Saving, 86 years of age died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born April 10, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Harold J. Sr. and Frances Phillippino Saving. Frank retired from Airguard Industries of Indiana and was the widower of Anna L. (Coomer) Saving. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of V.F.W. Hobart Beach Post #1693. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus in New Albany, St. Mary’s Church Men’s Club and a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three siblings, Harold J. Saving Jr., Robert Saving, and Margaret Engle.

Survivors include his children, Deborah Juliot (Duke), Francine Miller (Mark), Theresa Johnson (Tony), Jeff Saving, Brad Saving; grandchildren, Dennis, LeeAnn, Rebecca, Terry, Tabatha, Jeremy, Brooke; greatgrandchildren, Sonya, Lucas, Preslie, Preston, Hunter, Samantha, Gracie, Jessie, Jacob and Wyatt; brother, Dr. Thomas Saving(Barbara); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday April 22, 2016 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Saturday April 23, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church New Albany with burial and military honors in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
