G. Leigh Linne, 68, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Leigh was a native of New Albany and had worked as a statistical clerk for the Department of Commerce for 38 years. She was a Baptist and member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #3281. Leigh was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Vina Daugherty Hunt; son, David Wayne Hampton; sisters, Dimple Reid and Barbara Koerber; and brothers, James, Les and Ray Hunt.
Survivors include her husband, William F. Linne, Sr.; children, Tammie Juliot (Troy), Richard Hampton (Kalyne), Cathy Deaver,
Dawn Linne, Dianna Linne and William Linne, Jr. (Katie); brother, Dean Hunt; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Friday at the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
