Georgia Kitterman Zippin, 89 years of age passed Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonvillle, Indiana. Georgia was born April 16, 1924 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Orville and Emma (Graham) Mayfield, Sr. She was retired from Haas Cabinet and was a member of Sellersburg United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Georgia was preceded in death by her husbands, Alva Kitterman and Charles Zippin; sister, Donna Scrogham; brothers, Harry Mayfield and Melvin Mayfield.
Survivors include her children, Jackie Lee Kitterman (Dottie), Roberta Broadus (Ronald), Carolyn Rogers (John), Paul Kitterman (Clodas); sisters, Anna Schad, Alice Faith; brother, Orville Mayfield, Jr.; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Services will be held 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
