Memorial visitation for Jacqueline C. “Bitty” Barr, 81, formerly of New Albany, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, Ky. Her wish was to be cremated.
The daughter of the late Russell and Catherine Baker, Bitty was born July 16, 1930 in New Albany. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Joe B. Barr; daughters, Susan Munroe and her husband, Richard, of Orange, Calif., Sarah Barr, of Louisville, Lisa Kralick, of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Barbara Reimers and her husband, Kevin, of Dove Canyon, Calif.; a sister, Barbara Gray and her husband, Robert, of New Albany; brother, Jerry Baker and his wife, Wanda, of Floyds Knobs; and grandchildren, Joe and Emily Kralick and Jackson and Hannah Reimers.
