Funeral services for James L. Krininger 45, of Lanesville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 1, at Kraft Funeral Services, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at his home, after a two-year battle with cancer.
He was a native of New Albany, a 1983 graduate of Jeffersonville High School, an Army veteran, and was a former employee at Gordon Food Service in Clarksville. He was a Jaycee Senator 69695 and former Indiana Jaycee of the year.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Richmer Krininger; son, Zachary Krininger; daughter, Zoe Krininger; stepdaughter, Cassidy Richmer; mother, Bea Brading; brother, Glenn Krininger; father, Charles Krininger II and his wife, Velma; half-brother, Charles Krininger III and his wife, Amy; uncles, Jesse Bowling and his wife, Sue and Jim Gresham and his wife, Jennifer; 16 nieces and nephews, and two great-nephews.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
