Janis "Jan" McCormick Ingle

Janis "Jan" McCormick Ingle, a faithful and beloved individual, passed away surrounded by her family on December 1, 2025, at the age of 74. Jan was born on September 13, 1951, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late John Thomas Miller Jr. and Margaret "Peggy" (Johantgen) Miller.

Jan had a distinguished career, retiring from the Floyd County Auditor's Office.

In her personal life, Jan was married to the late Rick McCormick until his passing in 1998. She later married the late Ronald Ingle, who also passed in 2025. Jan and Ron shared moments together, particularly enjoying music.

Jan enjoyed traveling, shopping, watching football, and dining out. She was an active participant in bible study and found great joy in spending time with her family.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Richard "Rick" McCormick and Ronald "Ron" Ingle; and her brothers, Jack Miller and Phil Miller.

Jan is survived by her sons, Mike McCormick and Jeremy (Kenya) McCormick; sister, Donna Miller (Marty); grandchildren, Austin (Hannah), Chase, Michael, and Matthew; and lifelong friend, Linda Creamer; along with many cousins, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on December 8, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Jan's funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 12:00 pm.
