Jean Tevis

Jean Tevis, 69, of Georgetown, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020. She was born on October 12, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Joseph Richard Wimsatt and Clara Helen Wimsatt. She was a retired cosmetologist and attended Northside Christian Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son, David Tevis; siblings, Bob Wimsatt, Janet Thomas, Steve Wimsatt; Esther Fredericks, Donna LaHue and Linda Wimsatt. Jean is survived by two children, Danny (Angie) Tevis and Kathleen Tevis; grandchildren, Cody (Sarah) Tevis and Jacob Tevis; father of her children, Daniel Tevis; siblings, Mike (Sue) Wimsatt, Sheila (Gary)Schmidt, Joan Foster, Rita Wimsatt, Mary (Tim) Paul, John (Nancy) Wimsatt, Bill (Tammy) Wimsatt and Maureen (Eric) Pierce. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road and from 10-11 on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the funeral home with burial to follow in the St. Mary of the Knobs Church Cemetery. Expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
