Jessie Louise Enlow

Jessie Louise Cooksey (Grammy) Enlow, 81 years of age passed away peacefully March 25, 2019 at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, Indiana. She was born August 12, 1937 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Amanda Alice Quiggins Cooksey and Blemmer Cooksey and was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Estel Eugene Enlow ; brothers Wendal, Marvin, and Curtis; sisters Willie Mae Cooksey (Harrod), Wanda Cooksey (Caffee) and Ella Cooksey (Ashley).

Survivors include her brothers Adrian, Paul (Betty), Gerald (Cathy), Harold Dean (Rebecca), and

James Dale; daughters Susan Williams and Esther Yarbrough (Dave); grandson Aaron Enlow (Emily); granddaughters Brittany Lamoureux (Daniel) and Andrea Harp (Kevin); great

grandchildren Ariana, Amelia, Hannah, Sullivan and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Above all else, Jessie was fiercely devoted to and deeply loved her family. She was a homemaker, and a remarkable cook. She enjoyed preparing meals from scratch for her family. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, yard sales, refurbishing old furniture, canning, cookouts, camping and her Hallmark movies. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and birds.

Visitation will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the Kraft Funeral Chapel, with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
