JOYCE "MARIE" (MOORE) BARBER, 75 years of age, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday June 26, 2016 with her devoted and loving husband of fifty-eight years by her side. Marie was born December 9, 1940 in Louisville, KY to the late Horace and Myrtle Moore. She was a life-long member of Broadway Church of the Nazarene and Marie will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Lowell Dean Barber; son, Ricky Dean Barber; siblings, M. Louise Newman, A.D. Moore, and Rev. Ray D. Moore (Margaret). Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her special pet cat, Junior.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday with private entombment in the Garden of Angels at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
