Judith A. (Lewis) Fetz, age 80, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on July 1, 1945, in Jeffersonville, where she spent the majority of her life surrounded by family, friends, and the community she loved.
Judy was a devoted wife to Lewis “Tony” Fetz for nearly 63 years, a partnership defined by commitment, humor, and unwavering love. She was a caring and supportive mother to her sons, Kevin Fetz (Donna Dahlgren) and Keith Fetz (Kristan Fetz), and she took immense pride in the men they became.
The greatest joys of Judy’s life were her grandchildren Keigan Fetz, Carter Fetz, and Kyley Fetz. She had a unique ability to ignite their imagination with the wild, whimsical stories she spun—tales that always left them filled with wonder and occasionally questioning just how much of Grandma’s storytelling was true. Her sharp wit, playful humor, and warm presence made her a constant source of laughter and comfort.
Judy is survived by her loving husband Tony; her sons Kevin and Keith; her cherished grandchildren; and her siblings Rose Chapman, Michael Lewis, and Robert Lewis. Along with several nieces and nephews that she loved and cared deeply for.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Fetz; her father, Marshall Lewis; and her mother, Ella Margret Lewis.
What made Judy most proud was being present in the lives of her grandchildren, celebrating their milestones, encouraging their dreams, and showering them with her endless love.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A funeral service honoring Judy’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with private burial at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the nurses at Baptist Health Floyd and the Hospice staff who provided compassionate care and comfort during her final days.
Judy’s love, humor, and gentle strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
