Kelly D. (Humphries) Blaylock, 41, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Kelly was born January 14, 1977 in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked for Heartland Payment Systems and was a member of Church On The Rock in New Albany where she volunteered in the Children’s Ministry Program and at the Children’s Detention Center in Jeffersonville. She also volunteered with Dare to Care and the Celebrate Recovery Program through Generation Church in Louisville; she helped with the Pink Ladies Breast Cancer Awareness Group, and was a huge Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, David Blaylock; sons, Jonathan and Malachi Blaylock; parents, Debra and Alvin Humphries II; brother, Alvin Humphries III; uncles, Andrew Humphries (Cindi Klink) and Mike Dossett; and aunt, Karen Camp.
Memorial Visitation will be from 1 pm ~ 4 pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Church On The Rock, 4224 Mel Smith Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held at 6 pm Saturday at the church. Private entombment will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park at a later date.
