He was a native of Atkinson, ME, and a retired claims investigator from CSX Railroad after over 40 years of service.
Survivors include wife, Julia Spalding Gerry, New Albany; sons, Kenneth O. Gerry Jr. , Georgetown, IN and Shannon Lane Gerry, Louisville; daughter, Janice Lynn Gerry Louisville; grandchildren, Jon Gerry, Mendy Gerry, Chad Gerry, Dylan Meyers, Austin Brooks and Kendra Johns; and great-grandchildren, Jonathon Gerry, Nicole Gerry and Stephen Gerry .
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
