Lorraine Sunderhaus Thornton

Lorraine Sunderhaus Thornton, 88 years of age of New Albany, died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Indiana. She was born July 13, 1927 in New Albany to the late Joseph and Mary Book Sunderhaus. Lorraine was a realtor, an artist and a longtime antique enthusiast. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Geneva Rouck and Edgar Sunderhaus.

Preston, Koren and Cole

Great Grandchildren: Brookelyn, Gunner, Brighton, Cruze and Sailor

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Sunday and after 10:00 am Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral mass will be 12:00 pm Monday at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
