Margie B. (Daugherty) Smith, 90 years of age passed away Tuesday November 28, 2017. She was born November 24, 1927 in Huntingburg, Indiana to the late Elmer C. and Cynthia (McLemore) Daugherty. She was the widow of James H. Smith and was a wonderful homemaker, mother and housewife. Margie was very active and will be fondly remembered and missed by her family and friends. She was a member of the Emmaus Community of Indiana and will be missed at the Tuesday Morning Ladies Prayer Group. She was preceded in death by her husband, son James H. Smith Jr., and five siblings, Lelah Schurch, Mary Burge, Grace Schoen, Edward Daugherty and Oscar Daugherty.
Survivors include her five children, Linda Timberlake (Gary), Sandi Pike (Mike), Janet Pack (Frank), Mark Smith (Debbie), Paul Smith (Susan); also many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday December 3rd at Kraft Funeral Service 2776 Charlestown Rd. Her Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday December 3rd in the Kraft Chapel at Charlestown Rd. Private burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
