Maria Foster, age 72, of Pekin, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023. She was born June 3, 1950, in Scottsburg, Indiana to the late William and Geneva Drury. Maria was a retired Hospitality Hostess and a member of Fair Haven Baptist Church in Charlestown, Indiana. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings.
Maria is survived by her husband of 51 years, Arthur Foster; daughter, Jamie Foster; grandchildren, Dakota Foster, Mason Riley, and Chloe Foster; great grand-daughter, Nova Leigh; brother, Ferlin Drury; sister, Beverly Drury; and one aunt, Wyona Hall.
A visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 11:00am in the Kraft Funeral Service Chapel, 2776 Charlestown Road. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 9:00am.
Maria will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana.
