Mary Victoria Brown, passed away at her home on October 2, 2025, at the age of 89 in New Albany. She was born on December 9, 1935 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Victor and Loretta (McDaniel) Brown. Mary was employed with Rudd Equipment for over 30 years and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany. She traveled the world throughout her life including her favorite spot, Blue Ridge Parkway, and along with her parents, was preceded in death by her siblings Ben Brown, Hilda Howard, Vivian Lung, Edith Weber; nieces and nephews, Curtis Howard, Dominic Howard, Terri Howard, Crystal Quick, and Nancy Smith.
She is survived by her devoted and dedicated niece, Janet Caffee. Special thanks to her nieces who served as her constant caregivers and companions, Glenda Sparks, Janice Chaffin, Jennifer Jones, and Mary Lynch. She is also survived by an additional 15 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, located at 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St Mary's Catholic Church, 415 E 8th St, New Albany, Indiana, on Thursdya, October 9, 2025 at 10:00 am. Mary's final resting place will be Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
