Michael "Mike" James Robbins

Michael James “Mike” Robbins, 33 years of age died Sunday January 6, 2019, with his family by his side. He was born April 29, 1985, to John K. and Virginia “Ginny” (Sparrow) Robbins and was a fiber optics specialist with Samtec, Inc. for some 13 years. Mike loved the outdoors, woodworking, and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed fishing, guns, and shooting. Mike especially loved animals, and his dogs while also caring for the homeless of our community with his big heart and love of people. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family and all who knew him. Survivors include his parents, John K. and Virginia “Ginny” (Sparrow) Robbins; sister, Erin Robbins and her husband, Chris Parker; nephew, Thaine Parker; grandmother, Dolores Robbins; and his pet dog “Gary”. Visitation 12:00 noon until 7:00 pm Thursday January 10th, 2019, at Kraft Funeral Service 2776 Charlestown Rd. New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with cremation to follow.
