Nora “Jane” (Stovall) Gunterman, 89 years of age died Thursday December 3, 2015. She was born May 2, 1925 in Marble Hill MO. To the late John Louis and Etta Mae (Meyers) Stovall. Jane was the widow of “Vic” Gunterman, her devoted husband of 63 years with whom she raised her family. She also was actively involved in the operation of “Vic’s” Tavern on rear Market St. in New Albany that is now operated by her son Rick. “Jane” was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a grandson Tyler Gunterman. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends and patrons she touched throughout her life.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Sallie Grim and husband Don
Son: Rick L. Gunterman
Three Grandchildren: Shawn, Tammy and Ryan
Five Greatgrandchildren: Kassidy, Brandon, Kimberly, Cassidy and Hazel.
One Great-Greatgrandchild: Kadience
A reception of family and friends will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday December 6th, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Monday December 7th, at the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park..
