NORMA LEE (McDONALD) RUDDELL, 86, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017. The daughter of the late Jerd and Fern (Morgan) McDonald, Norma was born October 15, 1930 in English, Indiana. Norma was a member of Highfill Chapel Church in Taswell, Indiana and member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 204 Ladies Auxiliaries, both in Sellersburg. She enjoyed playing bingo, dominos, and cards with her many friends at Westminster Village. Throughout her life, she enjoyed fishing, traveling, dancing and spending time with loved ones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Max Ruddell; and a sister, Marcille Longest.
Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Gividen (Wayne Shaw) and Shari Kidwell; and grandson, Max Shireman and his wife, Stacy.
Visitation will be 3:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday and 10:00 am ~ 12:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Thursday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in Highfill Chapel Cemetery in Taswell, Indiana.
Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Color Guard of American Legion Post 204 in Sellersburg, Indiana or animal charity of the donor’s choice.
