Ophelia “Beedie” Palmer Hubbuch, 93 years of age died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, Indiana. She was born November 2, 1921 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to the late Sherman and Eula Beatty. Beedie was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville where she was active in The Ruth Class. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Delbert F. “Butch” Palmer, Francis G. “Nook” Hubbuch; son, Delbert Lee Palmer; and brother, Sherrill Beatty.
Survivors include children, Randy Palmer (Laura), John Hubbuch (Marsha), Bob Hubbuch (Sue), Joan Erni (Pralle); daughter-in-law, Anne Palmer; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home chapel with private burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
The family requests expression of sympathy to go to First Southern Baptist Church or American Heart Association.
