Phyllis J. (Becht) Sarles, 75 years of age died Tuesday February 6, 2018. She was born April 16, 1942 in Floyds Knobs to the late Aloysius J. and Mary Helen (Mould) Becht and was a retired school bus driver with the New Albany Floyd County School Corporation for many years. She was the widow of Harold Raymond “Curley” Sarles Sr. and a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Harold Raymond Sarles Jr.
Survivors include: Daughter Jeannie M. Sarles and Siblings; Ruth Ann Becht, Mary Jane Adams (John), Elizabeth Berry, Laura Runyon (Chris), Charles, Michael(Connie), Paul(Jeannie) and Thomas Becht. Also many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm Sunday February 11th, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Monday February 12th, at the Kraft Funeral Service Charlestown Rd. Chapel with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
