Richard Reed "Richie" Cozart Jr.

RICHARD REED "RICHIE" COZART, JR., 20, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017. The son of Richard R. Cozart, Sr. (Windy) and Carla Ferguson Shelton (Nick), Richie was born June 6, 1996 in New Albany. Richie was a big hearted jokester, always wanting to make people happy. He also loved to rap and could improvise a rap tune almost instantly. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Vicki Cozart. In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers, Ryder Cozart, Zach Shelton, and Blake Dayton; grandparents, Ernie Criswell, Janice and Charles Fulton, and Marvin and Jean Ferguson; great grandmothers, Phyllis Crawford and Charlene Ferguson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be 11:00 am ~ 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana.
