Bobby was a wonderful husband and father who always put his family first. He also enjoyed gardening; and was an avid IU fan. Bobby had a love for animals, especially his dog, Putter T. He had several English Bulldogs over the years, who he loved dearly. He was a generous and caring man, who would do anything for anybody.
He married Joan Fulner on November 14, 1959 and they spent 65 years together. Bobby is also survived by his daughters, Kimberly Helbig and Krista Helbig (Michael Berry); and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen following Bobby's wishes. The family will be having a private service at a later date.
