Robert "Rob" Williams Jr., age 51, of Henryville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on September 9, 1971, to Robert Williams Sr. and Roberta Baldwin. Rob met his husband Brad with whom he shared a wonderful life with for 21 years. Rob worked as a facility manager at First Urology until retirement.
In Rob’s spare time, he loved to travel, fish, garden, and last but not least, he loved to shop. Rob was a fighter and fought hard during his battle with medical issues following a heart transplant. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Rob is preceded in death by his father, Robert Williams Sr.
He leaves behind his loving husband, Brad Jones; his mother, Roberta Baldwin; one brother, Ernest Williams (Paula); and one sister, Theresa Poehlein; and his little dog, Penny who he loved very much.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 21, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service with visitation from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Rob will be laid to rest in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
