Rodney Ray Hanger Sr., 61 years of age died Monday October 20th, 2014 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born February 19, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana to Merrill and Martha Lee (McCain) Hanger and was a longtime employee of Jim O’Neal Ford in Sellersburg. Indiana. Rodney was preceded in death by his father Merrill Hanger. Survivors include: Wife of 41 years: Brenda Kay (Best) Hanger Son: Rodney Ray Hanger Jr. and wife Brittany Daughter: Melinda Dawn Luther and husband Mike Six Grandchildren: Ashton, Madison, Allyssa, Preston, Kiara and Kallee. Mother: Martha Lee (McCain) Hanger Brother: Merrill Hanger and wife Betty Sister: Peggy Brooks and husband Eddie Sr. Visitation wil be from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 6:00 pm Thursday evening October 23rd, at the Kraft Charlestown Rd.
