Rose Evelyn Fuhry, 101, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Evelyn was born February 28, 1921 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Michael and Carrie Haller. She worked at ICI, was a seamstress at Seinsheimers and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Jacob Fuhry; and a sister, Irene Johnson.
Evelyn is survived by a son, Michael Fuhry; grandchildren, Andrea Fuhry, Chris Fuhry and Ashley (Joe) Byrd; and three great-grandchildren, Carson Copeland, Brooklyn Byrd and Katelyn Byrd.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Her funeral service will be Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
